Well I spoke with someone at Water Taxi and they told me you purchase your ticket for when you want to go to Randall's but that they will have numerous ferry departing RI to get back to the City or Queens, but that they recommend that you don't wait till the end to leave.
Which probably means things are going to get messy since I prefer not to take anything up into Harlem at night.
WTF. Last year there were so many options to get to RI. The express buses from Queens were mint. I don't know why they did not offer them again.
Everyone from Queens should just chip in and rent out our own Dicobus to get to RI. |

Just spoke with customer service. You can get on any boat after what your ticket states so that's good. Going home is gonna be the same as last year. If you have a ticket you get preference and they're gonna have boats coming and going non stop. I remember last year there was a long line for people who didnt get presale tickets so its def worth to buy them beforehand. |
Would you post the link to where you bought your Water Taxi tickets...pretty please?
I was just on the WT site and didn't see where to buy them.

| Everyone needs to stop being lazy and just walk over the bridge with a big group. It takes like 20 minutes to reach the venue. The end |

A quick glance at a map showed the foot bridge to be further south from the park area- the newly named RFk bridge seems like it save you about 15-20 min walk. Anyway can clarify this? |
You end up on Ward's Island and have to walk north, so it's a bit of a longer walk (20-30 mins from leaving Manhattan as I remember?).
However: It's bikes and pedestrians only, so much more tranquil and interesting. And you will never ever cross a pedestrian bridge of this length again in your life, most likely. And the walk at the end of the bridge brings you past some ponies! So it's an EXPERIENCE.

You need to pick a departure time, coming back you dont need one.. |

As of right now it shouldn't affect the event but that could change between now and then. |
