2. LA peeps often look like they live in 1999 with their purple dreads, pacifiers, and super plur rave gear. EZ has a few of those, but most dress in 2010 non-raver gear. EZ peeps dress casual for day parties (sundress, jean skirts, shorts, tanks), dressier for night/afterparties (heels, dresses, more makeup).

bring up a good point here - i know that some clubs in nyc have mildly strict dress codes. is that going to be a problem for after parties after EZ? was it last year.
I don't mean getting raved out. I mean- sandals, shorts, t shirts - will any of those be a problem?

I wouldn't be too worried..
Most people don't have the option/time to change before heading out to the after parties & venues take that into consideration. Last year on day 2 i attended the festival and was then responsible for working the guest list @ Love right after.. needless to say i showed up a little late covered in dirt from the main stage lol no one cared and everyone looked just the same

Scheduling conflict like he was suppose to play main stage and you surprise him with a tent.

Haha WTF tho trance lineup was already weak and PVD was a major part of trance lineup and now he's slashed. Plus no ferry corsten = fail.

But as far as I rem ferry said at nokia theatre that he will be back for EZ :conf: :conf: :conf: :conf:

If I were made, next year I would just list off the top one hundred djs sell a bunch of tickets and then have will.I.am do an extended two day set played at all stages

There is nothing wrong with playing in the so called tent but why would Made try not to have him in the Main stage. It might him having to share a same stage with ATB but I'm sure he didn't mind when he played in a tent last year. I remember ATB had the Riverside Tent packed that night...

I don't care much about PvD myself and I'm more interested on the house/techno DJ myself but no can't say that there isn't enough trance at this EZ. Armin, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, Sander van Doorn, and Cosmic Gate is well worth if you are just interested in trance music.

The scheduling conflict for PVD is a load of crap. I remember Tiesto played 10 days in a row in the States 2 years ago, all around the country, and without any scheduling conflicts. That is a weak excuse and a poor one to cover up what ever happened.

imo its the total opposite
there isent enuff trance acts, svd and cosmic gate are far from trance these days its just their hard techy sound and their sets consist of mainly producer sets...nothing mind blowing

only above & beyond, emery and armin will spin more actually trance tracks

Depends what club you go to. Love and smaller clubs are very easy going about dress code (raver gear included!); places like Pacha and M2 are a bit more strict, especially with guys. I think they will be a little more lenient since they know most of the people are coming from EZ, but I would make sure, just so you dont get denied at the door!
