Look @ 125th and Broadway on the westside of Manhattan (left side)
You can see under Dr. MLK Blvd highlighted in bold text.
Bus routes traveling right (east) that take you to RI.
The bus queues up on the 6th train @ 125 where I believe most people will start 'looking' for the bus going to RI.
I'm sure you're better off catching the bus closer to the west and crawl east along 125th before it heads to RI. At least you'll be on the bus and not standing online somewhere on 125th on the eastside

put it this way
the weekend of labor day is a cluster everywhere, mark my word it will suck anywhere at any point of traveling in this city.
The instructions can be trusted but since you will be cattle herding from an island (manhattan) to another island (randall's island) there are only so many ways of getting there.
I'm giving you the option to spend more time getting there but at least you're on the vehicle that's headed in that direction.
If you try to get to Randall's Island anywhere on the east side (Lexington and 125th) you will be waiting in a line or in a crowd with hundreds of other peeps trying to do the same.
Because bus routes start further west "START" further west, maybe it'd be a smart idea to get on that bus at the beginning the say in the middle of the route closest to randall's island. |

And you know this Meng!
Yeah why the hell is the EZ site referring to the x80 when that bus line does not even seem to exist on the MTA map. The only buses seem to be the M60 and M35 ~ weird unless they add that line for that day to leave from that destination. Either way the M60 seems perfect for me, think that will be my party bus of choice- the earlier you get on the better before it hits the Eastside. Good Call Get-NYce- too bad your not rolling that day. |

now Im confused- I wonder if the M60 is simply an express bus- it seems to have no scheduled stops in Randalls Island which would be kind of weird. Luckily we have some time to figure this out :) |
m60 runs threw randalls, but does not stop it goes from manhattan to lga airport
if out of towners are confused your best bet is to just take a cab or bus to 125th street and second avenue and just walk across the rfk bridge its like a 10 min walk to randalls island/electric zoo
on the way back last year they had free buses that took you back to manhattan and left you at 125th and 2nd avenue |

I'd also like to applaud the OP about staying in the south bronx, since you're from detroit, I think you'd be comfortable with the area surrounding yankee stadium. |
yankee stadium area ain't the south bronx papichuco =P . OP will be fine by there as long he/she don't go below 149th or east of morris av.

Yeah walking over the bridge or just cabbing it sounds like the best options. Ohh well. |

| I drove to EZOO last time and I believe parking was somewhere between 15-20. I'm planning to do the same again since getting out/in was pretty easy last year. |

| I have 2 tickets for the Electric Zoo for sale if anyone wants it. I came up with personal problems and sadly will not be attending this event labor day weekend. I have one 2-day pass I'll let go for $100 and one sunday pass for $60. Let me know thanks. |
