PS According to Made, they probably won't be selling single day passes except on the day of the event. :eyespop:

Dam really, that's stupid. Well I guess it's the same thing for WMC....

I emailed them and asked.

Reply was that they "MAY" release 1day tix beforehand if demand is high enough (I dunno who said it but yea, they'll probably cost as much as 2day passes are now). But it seemed more than likely that they'd only be offered at the door.

Pretty ridiculous.

So like I said, anyone wanna buy 2 Saturday tix from me?

Why are you guys upset about not being able to buy one day passes before the event? If anything, being able to buy them only at the door is a great thing...you can avoid about $30 in bull service fees.

Which would be a good argument if the price of tickets didn't go up $30 from the time tickets go on sale to the day of the event.

And it's only $15/per day in fees. One day tickets for this are going to end up being $100 per day the day of the event.
MeLLyMeL
someone has obviously never been to a music festival.

Who would buy presales if they ONLY went up 30$ in price the day OF the fest?
tubularbills
still excited about this. gonna get tickets soon before the july 8th upgrade. already got airfare.

i'm sure there will be another TA meetup at the event at some point...yes?

$100 or $80, it really doesn't mean much. This lineup is TERRIBLE and you're going to get ripped off either way.

At the very least... I'm guessing $120+ for one-day tickets... Last year, I paid at the door and it was like $95 I think.. It'll definitely be much higher this year....

Hi everyone. Just wondering if there will be any public transit still running towards the end of the night on either day, or if it will be cabs only? Do they have designated areas for people who need said cabs or is it just a free for all? Are there any standard rates? I saw all the accommodation advice in previous pages so thanks for that.

at the end of the night's last year they had a free bus that takes you back to manhattan like 125th street in harlem
i beleive last year they also had ferry service but dont know the details
from there your on your own
tryin to get a cab outside of the festival is very hard because alot of cabs dont really go there because its on an island with very low population so they dont even waste their time
stick with the bus to manhattan
