In fact, the more I think about it....
There is DEFINITELY a reason why those 3 (Daniel Kandi, Mat Zo, and Super8 & Tab) are all in the US at the same time.
I don't know if this is coincidence, but this is around the same time that Anjunabeats vol. 8 is released. Could we see a release party, mini-tour, or Anjunabeats stage at EZ?
thoughts anyone?? |

anjuna is not nearly as popular as you may think it is in the US. even the anjunadeep room was hard to keep full during WMC and when jaytech played at armani exchange it was for the 10 people on his twitter or that saw the info in time (and all of these people are the trance/prog lovers that actually fly to WMC just to hear music).
all negativity aside, any anjuna artist with a&b would make me reconsider buying tickets. todays line up is an absolute joke for an NYC event and i'm not sure if i will even go to day 2 for the min of $60 they'll be charging to see a&b, armin (don't care regardless), schulz, and gareth. wtf happened to marcus schossow who did a gig with made in march? felt pretty damn packed at cielo for him not to be in this lineup! |

Made hasn't really touched Cadenza at all except for Luciano, I'd be surprised if we get any at all :( Cesar Merveille played an awesome set at reSOLUTE that would be proper for a daytime thing, but TBH, I don't see it happening.
About Major Lazer, I've been a fan of Switch's for a while, but I'm not all that crazy about what he's doing with Diplo now. Would like to see them live anyway to see what all the fuss is about. |

| The two day passes are now $122 with $26 in service fees. What a ing ripoff considering the lineup they have right now :haha: |

Last year they had 56 acts at the festival and they have already announced 46 for this year's event.
That means there's only 10 more names left to announce. |
I was kind of optimistic before; now I'm just a little nervous I wasted money on this, now that you've pointed out the numbers.
If the next 10 names are the calibur of the current 46, then I might have to sell my two tickets and use the money on a shore house for the weekend... |

When did they announce the final names for last year's festival?
I'm not really sure who could be in that final 10.
They could be raising the prices again to coincide with some bigger names being announced at a later date. That would encourage people to still buy tickets down the road.
But I think they would have announced the "bigger" names if they knew them already instead of the 38 they released last night. I don't think this is the kind of show that a DJ says "well let me see in a couple months how my tour schedule is looking and I'll get back to you". This is a show you book a tour around. |

If there was to be an Anjunabeats stage at EZ, then I would say about 7 out of the final 10 names would have to be Anjuna guys, since A&B are the only ones on the lineup now from that label.
It's doubtful. |
