Some of my fav sets last year were some of the suprising under-the-radar guys... But still, kinda crossing my fingers for some more trance and progressive. I coulda done without ATB and Paul Van Dyk, and with some of the guys from last year that did it for me: Jerome Isma-Ae, Menno De Jong, Josh Gabriel, Ferry Corsten, etc...

Lineup right now is okay, kinda crossing my fingers for more, but knowing Made, there's probably a lot more on the way...

I'm still not that impressed with the lineup. It needs a bit more of the wow factor.

And Claude Von Stroke is def NOT crap, never a dull moment in a dirtybird set.

Although Joris Voorn and Glitch Mob are a step in the right direction toward the wow factor :)

Call me crazy, but would anyone else absolutely LOVE IT if Joris Voorn were given the opening duties on main stage? Like Middleton did last year? I'd love to hear him for 2 hours playing some Voorn-y tunes to set the day up while I lay down in the field..
Neonbeats
Needs more Carl Cox, SHM, Cadenza, etc....

Not gonna lie...I think this lineup sucks so far. I'm so glad I didn't buy a two day pass. I'm not sure if I'll even go at all at this point. I think I might just save my money for the DJ Eco/MIKE/Thrillseekers show in mid-June.

The only names out of the additional 38 that they announced that I took notice at were:

Gareth Emery
Markus Schulz

Outside of that, I've never even heard of half of the list they announced, and those that I have, I either don't listen to them or don't care about them.

Where is the trance/progressive outside a couple of the headliners?

I was hoping for a few of the following to be announced, but none of them were:

Mat Zo
Daniel Kandi
Jaytech
James Grant
Super8 & Tab
Nitrous Oxide
DJ Eco
Ferry Corsten
Jorn Van Deynhoven
Thrillseekers
Aly & Fila
Luigi Lusini
Kyau & Albert
Manuel Le Saux
Solarstone

I'm surprised no one from the Anjunadeep/Anjunabeats crew was announced, considering Above & Beyond is a headliner.

They badly need to add a couple of those names from above. Not just because I'm a fanboy, but most of those artists are popular with the masses and they need some variety. There is literally NO trance/prog on that lineup they have right now.

Cox would be a good addition, been hoping to see him for a while now. Other than that i think there is def enough under the radar techno/minimal acts. Agree with ECO that i would like to see more trance and progressive, call me crazy but this is the perfect opportunity to get acts over here that rarely make an appearance like Barnes & Heathcliff, Phynn, Myon & Shane 54, Super 8 & Tab, Mat Zo, Jaytech, Aly & Fila etc. Also think that chemical brothers, PVD, ATB are some wasted headliners and could be improved upon immensely. I know they are big influential dj's but have been played out far too much and all leave a bad taste in my mouth at this point. Lastly i do hope MADE gives ECO the props he deserves and extend him an invite, it is def deserved.

I don't want to sound like an , but last year's lineup had a bunch of names that looked like to me that Made Event was just trying to fill the schedule up with anyone that would come and play.

This year's festival I thought they would drop some of those lower-level guys and go all out, similar to Ultra or other big festivals. Instead, they book even more of these kinds of guys...

jmauro
Swedish House Mafia needs to be on that lineup. It would be epic.

and more Trance.

May I suggest DJ Eco also? He lives around here! and threw an amazing set at ASOT 450 ;)

and where is Simon Patterson and Sean Tyas? Mat Zo? Menno?
Neonbeats
Yeah, I'm not too impressed either. A lot of these hipster noob cheesy house djs are trash. Needs more names like Lee Burridge, more of the Cocoon crew and other fun daytime WMC djs....especially the Cadenza guys, someone needs to bring their sound. Would like to see some nice Trance names too like Jerome Isma-ae and Eco
