I'm going, i'm excited about going, but please don't deny the fact that this is a weak lineup compared to last year and compared to other festivals this summer.
Especially disappointing is no Swedish House Mafia...not even 1 of the, and Steve Angello absolutely destroyed the main stage last year.
I think what bothers me most is that they did not really book too many people that are cutting edge and outside the safe little box that promoters love (a la Armin, Digweed, etc)... Glad to see some good examples though, like Avicii who basically became a superstar within the last year, but generally we're lacking in the new meat department.
And I know people are going to freak out on me for this, but I am really surprised (solely from a business perspective) to see both Guetta and Deadmau5 absent.
I think it's definitely realistic to expect an attendance drop this year. |

i think its the other way round, they dropped a lot of expensive acts like steve angello, deadmau5, david guetta, ferry corsten, james holden, Danny tanaglia, menno de jong, robbie rivera, chus & chaballos, audion, desyn masiello, roger sanchez
and substitue them with newer cheaper alternatives, put in a few new big names like above & beyond and PVD, add boris for the shore people, sell only 2 day passes at more price than last year and expect around same amount of people = More $$$$$$
and most of us will go regardless of the lineup just have a good time with friends just because last year was ing epic. so its a win for made from all prospectives |

| I would have liked to go both days but I can't get out of work that saturday. Sunday looks nice but i wish Armin and Digweed didn't play at the same time. Why can't they do them back to back? |
