I'm shocked at all the bitching about the Chemical Brothers. I mean, I realize that half of you were like 10 when their albums started coming out, but to hear things like "I thought it would be someone bigger" is a bit surprising. Exactly who do you think is "bigger?" Do you think Armin or PvD have sold even close to the number of records that the Chemical Brothers have?

I honestly can't think of many other electronic acts that have had such mainstream appeal, aside from acts like The Prodigy or The Crystal Method. Add to that how little they tour/play and I think this is a huge booking.

True that !:thepirate

Digweed usually only comes to NYC once a year. I hope this isn't that one and only time.

As of right now, no.

People who went last year said there was some promo code that waived the service fees, but it apparently hasn't come out this year yet (?)

I'm not paying it though either. I can't rationalize paying $30 for service charges for an outdoor event with no seating, the lineup isn't fully announced, and you don't get the ticket mailed to you until the end of the summer.

The $30 fee, which is pure profit from them, is nothing but a straight-up assjacking.

You could wait for promoter friends to have hard copies, which is probably what I'm going to do.

I know last year the record store Rebel Rebel was selling them but when I called last week to ask they said they didnt have them available.

Im sure there will be last minute sellers on here. Keep checking the forums. There were people scalping at the gate, not that I would recommend buying from them.

Also please lets keep all the Electric Zoo related stuff in one thread ;)
