are you really that worried about losing pvd in central park? i was there this year and was wholly unimpressed it was the worst performance of 4 that i have seen, in fact i asked andy moor later that night at love what he thought and he said the same thing. it was like a family cookout with a completely watered down performance, plus those two ing drummers sucked. pvd for two hours at the zoo is 110% better than all night at central park, he might actually throw down to impress the masses instead of just go through the motions |

We all know about his boycott and constant rumors that he's coming to the US. If anything I'd guess he'd do something like DEMF, not something like Zoo. |

Dude, Tania plays with Villalobos all the time. She said that they had the boycott convo many times (one of the reasons why Tania doesn't play US often either). Didn't say where he would play, but it didn't sound like a rumour to me either. I could give two sh*ts about whether he plays EZ or not. But whatever. Apparently you know everything.

He's always been very clear about disagreeing with the Bush administration and made it public to not appear in the US while it had a bigot as president and practised his policies. Ricardo is a socialist (and not in the American demonised sense of the word, but more in a "opportunity for everyone", marxist class struggle sense). I wonder if he'd even be allowed into the country by being so vocal about his disapproval. He made it to Canada last year and the year before, so the US is said to be soon. |
