I went to a new girl to get my haircut a few months ago. As soon as we saw each other it was pretty clear there was interest on both ends. serious BSG marathoning happening in the last 2 weeks (as i was writing essays): Halfway thru season 3 now... Start of season 2 was pretty gay... sort of picked up in the second half but then i thought the finale was gay too... s. 3's ok, but it's getting a bit convoluted: The brilliance of the first season was the simplicity of the setting imo, now they're just all over the place lol

the start of season 2, separated from the fleet and adama going under the knife in the middle of the punch on, are some of my fave parts ever on television :p i thought the first half of season 2, up to and including the meet up with pegasus, was pretty awesome. and the attempted rape of poor lil sharon :( i'll save you sharon!
the latter part though started to lose the plot a bit, and this continues on and off thru the whole of season 3. oh well, can't have everything!

Yeah thats quite true actually, I think the pegasus stuff and the new caprica parts are just a bit wtf... sorta seemed to be a reach like they ran out of ideas for a bit... it wasnt all bad, ust came to expect a lot from the quality of season 1 I think...

yeah, season 1 is the tightest, because running away was the biggest part of the plot, and that made sense. FYI, galactica encountered pegasus in the original tv show, so paying homage to the original is ok in my book. plus, without pegasus we wouldn't have gotten razor, which imo was the greatest scifi tv movie ever. watch it after you've finished season 3 and before 4.

yeah no doubt, and like i said i'm still enjoying it, I just think without the anchor of running away there is no anchor, and it seems like the show drifts a lot... I don't know the original so can't comment, homages to originals are always good in reconstructions though for sure.
