Is that any good? I've got all of Terry Goodkind's books, starting with The Wizards First Rule about 15 years ago. I saw some short clips on Youtube, but it looked kinda... yeah, I dunno. Confirm?

The first few books were so good, too :(

Easily one of the most underrated shows in existence at the moment.
The beauty of it is, it's been renewed for Seasons 5 and 6 and Season 4 hasn't even started yet. That way you know it won't just get cancelled all of a sudden.

I just started watching S3 and it just gets better. The cast are absolutely fantastic with great chemistry and the storylines very well written.
Some may complain that every episode has the same formula (much like House does) but it's a really good formula and they always tend to keep something up their sleeve to surprise you at any moment. Highly recommended, probably my favourite series at the moment.

but in good tv news- martin's epic a song of fire and ice had a pilot produced earlier this year and has been picked up by HBO. scheduled to air sometime next year.
Ian
dexter
house
csi franchises (i grew into miami & ny after a long time)
criminal minds
law & order & the spinoffs
life on mars (uk)/ ashes to ashes (uk)
spooks (MI5 in the US I think)
NCIS & occasionally NCIS LA

I haven't got into stuff like true blood yet, maybe in time or get the dvd/blu-ray and start it from the beginning and I might do.

Also love some of the nostalgic shows they show here on sky such as

diagnosis murder
murder she wrote
buffy the vampire slayer (although i watched every ep religiously when it was new)
x-files
the league of gentlemen (UK)
bARTovsky
Deadwood
The Wire
The Shield
The Sopranos
Treme

30 Rock
The Peep Show
Q.I.
Mock The Week
The Mitchell & Webb Look
Argumental

and anything by Charlie Brooker.

oh and I forgot to mention Nip Tuck, it was a sick show in the first couple of season, so watch that.

I got into Eureka a while ago. The Pacific is excellent as well. Unfortunately without being in the states I miss quite a bit of the television shows as im limited to what AFN decides to show over here.

My favorite show by far is Top Gear.

I've only seen a couple of episodes of Cougar Town and was surprised that I actually liked it.

ps
disclaimer: takes place in Florida
