A couple things:
I just downloaded The Wire. I'm about to watch an episode or two.
Also, any fans of Home Movies or Sealab 2021? I used to love both of em but now I can only seem to tolerate them in small doses. They still keep me laughin' though.
How about Oz? I love this show. I've been watching it randomly for the past 2 years but I'm finally digging into it, season by season. |

| Be patient with The Wire. It's pretty slow to start. The whole first season was a snail's pace for me, but when they start connecting the dots it pays off. Outstanding series. |

It's very much a season-show... Individual episodes can seem tedious, but when you get to the ends of the seasons... :eyes: :eyes:
I still really don't like season 2 also, but 1, 3, 4, & 5-- Holy . So good. |

| Well I've heard so much about how strong the show is (mostly here in this thread) and I'm anxious to really get into it. I really enjoy character development in shows like this so I don't think I'll have any trouble. |

| Already through with the first 6 episodes..Couldn't sleep last night so I watched the first 3. Woke up, class, a bit of homework, rush home and put on more of it hahaha. I don't think it's slow at all. One thing that might help - I love some of the actors. A bunch of em are in the newer HBO series 'Treme' that I've was really into. |

that's reassuring to hear. i've watched the first 3 episodes and it's proven pretty hard to get into. i'll give it another go :) |
