I had trouble following some parts of the tv series using English subtitles. Then again, I guess the speed at which I had to process everything doesn't apply when reading the book :)
I guess I'll jump on all four books for 20 bucks as well. That is, if the shipping doesn't double the cost :) |

the books are pretty easy to follow, they're complicated, but thats why they're sooo big! :) the series had to try compact everything into very little space, the books take their time.. |

me too! I never watched them all, but used to watch whatever random ep was on tv-- only just remembered it, and decided to get it in sequence! |

Yeah, there kind of is. It's not a srs bsns arc like B5 though, more like a common theme/story between Scorpious and John. I won't say too much here, since Egos hasn't watched it.
The stories and crew/cast dynamics are what made it really good though, IMO. Hell, it lasted for 4 seasons, which is pretty good for a sci-fi really. Must have had something! |

Yeah, ive seen people claim that SG1 lasted for 10 seasons which means it was awesome. |
