Who did you think was stiff? I thought the North men were, but they're supposed to be, since they're, you know, North men :p

Plot was a little fast, but I thought it worked and wasn't too quick. I'm kind of surprised it's 10 episodes instead of 12, though, as most HBO/Showtime stuff is 12 episodes (or at least all the shows I've watched).

I was, when the daenyrus kept getting her out.

I dunno, just about everyone I guess. Just my impression, and I know all about acting, they just weren’t convincing to me. but its early days.

my favourites are as follows:

Californication
Call Me Fitz
Boardwalk Empire
The Ricky Gervais Show
The Office

anyone who says 2 and a half men is a good show is a complete moron, period.

Watched The Walking Dead, It started off pretty well and just turned to after 3 episodes.

Still gotta go with Curb Your Enthusiasm, Twin Peaks, The Ricky Gervais Show, Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe, the first few series of The X Files and anyone who likes a good comedy will enjoy Spaced, Shooting Stars, or Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Most of these panel shows are worth a watch. Already mentioned the buzzcocks, but 8 out of 10 cats, QI, Mock the week and have i got news for you are also worth watching. I would actually move up north just so i could watch these on tv.

Also, about GoT. Magnificent casting, i you dont even need an introduction for Joff, because the very first frame of the first scene he was in, he alredy looked like he needs to get punched in the face.

Well, this episode definitely wasn't too fast paced. Not a bad episode, but clearly mostly a lot of exposition, which made it not nearly as good as the first one was. Joff getting slapped was great, though; as was Jamie talking to Jon. Some good chemistry between Jon and the other actors. Few little things that were different from the books bugged me a little bit, but not too much. Looking forward to next weeks.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Breaking Bad is the best show in 10 years (imo). Can't recommend it enough.

Absolutely.

I think many of today's most lauded shows won't live on outside of the pop-culture sensibilities that spawned them. Take a show like Boardwalk Empire- I really did enjoy it a great deal (hell, I followed religiously) and perhaps it's wrong to say this after only one season, but I don't think Boardwalk will be remembered after a certain point not so far into the future. The show is well produced and relatively well written but it's a prime example of shareholder TV: BIG budget, BIG production, and an even bigger focus on generating revenue.

Breaking Bad on the other hand...

I loved the first season of Treme on HBO so I'm excited to watch the first episode of the second season in about 5 minutes. :D

Recently I got through re-watching all of Cowboy Bebop, and for the first time watched the two extra episodes that I had never seen before: Session XX and Session 0. I ing love that show...really wish there were more of it.

Oh! And Archer is so ing great - the second season has been just as good as the first!

Mother: And you...go see Krieger this instant.
Archer: Whaat? I don't need a doctor, Mother. Katia doesn't have VD.
Mother: You haven't had sex with her???
:haha: :haha:

That was a good episode.

Game of Thrones is dope. I love the crazy drama right out of the gate, the wincest, the titties, the fighting. Awesome.
