The stories and crew/cast dynamics are what made it really good though, IMO. Hell, it lasted for 4 seasons, which is pretty good for a sci-fi really. Must have had something!
yeah definitely the group dynamic is what makes it a good show-- :)
I feel it doesn't take itself too seriously as well (in that there's a lot of humour in it), which is also a plus

Speaking of scifi. Anyone watched falling skies yet? After the pilot i have to say im not impressed, and if i hadn double checked that they were fighting aliens and not zombies i could have sworn i was watching Walking Dead.

Good choice, it got worse after the first 30 minutes.
Im still going to give it an episode or two since there's almost nothing else on tv during the summer.
Burn Notice started again though! That should still be good!

I saw this trailer today and lol'd:
Trailer looks like it has a lot of lame "America, yeah!" in it. It would be cool if they were a little more self-conscious by drawing parallels from an alien invasion and occupation to what America is doing in some countries. That could be pretty good.
