Just finished all 4 seasons of Mad Men in about a month or so.
What a great show, great actors, great characters, and the women, omg gorgeous!
Donald Draper is one hell of a type!

I was having sex before you’d even learned about masturbation, wit. |
That may well be true but let's not forget it wasn't your choice :p
Seriously, Firefly was cancelled prematurely, and Fox know it. Nathan Fillion recently said that he would do another series and then the rest of the cast indicated the same....if the rumors are true, there will be at least another film if not mini series. |

haha!
Hopefully miniseries, I didn’t go much on serenity. But still reckon its hopelessly optimistic to believe we’ll see anything new. |

Yeah, you're probably right. When studios decide something, they don't often change their minds.
Also, they've got a bit of a problem with another series in that they killed 3 (or was it two?) of the main characters in the film. |

There's been rumours for years. Joss Whedon said that he planned about 7 seasons worth of Firefly and that axing it literally broke his heart. The movie was a bitter sweet moment because he got to wrap some loose ends up but inevitably couldn't squeeze all that much in, and obviously the storytelling in a movie couldn't quite bring across the magic of a well written and acted TV series.
I don't think we'll ever see the series resurrected and doubt another movie will come along, though one can always hope. If the cast is on board, then that's a massive step forward. Shame about Wash though :( |

And the shepherd :(
I'll never forgive Joss Whedon for those  |

Oh yea him too. Well he was forced to do things in the movie for more impact so it makes sense.
I believe that if they make another movie, it will be set before Serenity which is kind of gay because I want continuation, not a prequel. |

I kind of agree, but on the other hand, I think what made Firefly so awesome was its quirky characters. To be honest, I don't care what they're doing, or whether it continues along the storyline, just as long as it's THEM I'm watching doing it. |

+ ing 1
Even though Wash and Shepherd are gone, i still think a Serenity seaquel would be great...i must admit i find the idea of River being the pilot quite intriguing.
As for the plot...maybe they could go and dig up Shephards past...i would like to see that. |
