Just started watching Damages (bit late, might have been mentioned already?)-- pretty good- glen close is legendary haha

really epic potential, twisted as plots and characters :)
it feels a littttlllle sloppy in how it's put together (3 episodes in) but I'm expecting it to grow into itself :)

OK, whilst it's really generic as far as US high school shows goes, parts of The Hard Times of RJ Berger has made me proper lol :wtf:
Lilith
River Monsters, get to see some really weird, bitey fish. Aside from that I'm not actually interested in fishing or having anything to do with some grotty, backwater river system myself, but I figure its always good to know where NOT to go.

Cops...
Fat Americans being made to run- check
Someone gets tazed or mauled by the police dog (even if its the cop)- check
Dumb Americans wearing pants around their arse trying to run- check
Annoying people who can't handle their drink/drugs getting wrecked- check
Old, scary looking white people LOVE meth- check
Uncomfortable look on the cops face when the hooker has a penis- lol
Crackheads... - check!

Every bad, racist, unfounded, stereotype that funny liberal minded people and school teachers told you was wrong about judging people based on appearance, being confirmed as actually being right. Somewhere I'm sure there's probably several million people watching it for all the wrong reasons, I'm probably just another one :o
bananas
, the ending of the last GoT episodes pissed me off

True... kinda. Like all stereotypes, they exist because tons of people live them out. The only bad thing about them is not letting people prove that they can step outside of them.

And yes, Cops is crazy lol.

I caught up with some of my favorite shows. GoT is getting more awesome with every episode!

Watched the newest South Park too.. why is that every time someone's speaking Dutch in an American tv show, he sounds like a German? :haha:

At least they got the melody of the song right (well, sort of..)

Just a friendly advice for anyone that hasnt read the books...unless you have a lot of disposable income...watch the series on as cheap a tv as you possibly can...no need to ruin a nice 50" by throwing heavy things at it on a weekly basis :D

:wtf:

God damn GoT is amazing.

I finally jumped on the GoT bandwagon. I've been busy lately, so I had a hard time fitting the show in when it first started. After missing the first two episodes I lost interest. I had nothing to do on Friday so I watched every single episode of the show back to back. Couldn't move myself away from the TV no matter how hard I tried. I remember reading complaints that the first few episodes were too slow. I didn't find that to be the case at all. I thought the drama throughout all of them was palpable. Really really wonderful. Maybe it's easier to get to start on the next episode right away, but, still, I got into it really easily.

luther season 2 just started. glad to see the gritty nasty tone remains. well done brits.

Covert Affairs season 2 and White Collar season 3 started a few weeks ago.

Covert affairs aint bad, as a summer show its actually quite good, if you ignore the main plot line and watch it on a week to week basis. May be just because i like the theme (spies!).

White collar would be good in any slot though, an ex con helping out an fbi guy to catch crooks doesnt sound very original (but what is these days) but the cast is very likeable, and the things seem to be taking a twist this season as their agendas arent necessarily aligned this year.

Its not GoT, but a nice easy watch for the summer :)
