If you like Entourage, check out How to Make it in America. Less bro'd out, but really good. |
Both great shows but that is a really silly comparison. They are nothing alike. |

| Most people I know who like Entourage also like HTMIIA. That's the extent of the comparison I'm trying to make. |

Okay, I'm just gonna do a list of shows I religiously watch every week, there will be alot missing as there were a few shows off this week and I'm too lazy to go two weeks back in my folders, maybe I'll remember some if I'm lucky..
Archer - not really been that solid this season, although there have been luls.
Unsupervised - Justin Long & Rickety Cricket = semi lob on from me, and did I see the logo of the Sunnydelphia guys at the end? While not remotely the funniest show on tv, it's still consistently ammusing
Napoleon Dynamite - I think I like it. Probably just because I've seen the movie, but I guess that's their target group, so yeah.. Freakin magic ligers and umm.. yeah some reference from another episode..
Parks & Recreation - While it could be said that it reminded of The Office in the start, it's grown to be a whimsical and hilarious high-light of my fridays.
The Office - No more Steve Carrell, but with James Spader, and others and a little shakeup in the story-line.. I've seen all the british ones, and while they are good I think this show is something Hollywood didn't up for once.
30 Rock - Alec Baldwin, Alec Baldwin, Alec Baldwin
Happy Endings - It has its moments and Elisha Cuthbert is hot when she's not fat, also plus for guest stars (that also goes triple for 30 rock btw)
Justified - One of the best shows on TV, and that's about what I have to say about that. Except that I'd do Ava anywhere, anytime, anyhow.
Raising Hope - Good writing, good casting, pretty much what you'd expect from Greg Garcia & Co. Also love the My Name is Earl cross references/cameos.
The Walking Dead - Zombie drama, what's not to love? Lauren Cohans ? Gtfoh
Top Gear UK - While the scripting has been showing through pretty dramatically this past season (or two) it's still the best car show being made. The whole "trying to be politically incorrect"-thing they (and a handfull of other brits) are doing is just so lame though, it's like first of all, if you're gonna make jokes; phrase them better, and secondly what they are saying isn't even that offensive at all, so they kinda look like that guy who thinks he's really hardcore because he's wearing a plain tie on striped tie day. The show still has amazing looking segments and the cars are usually top notch.
Family Guy/American Dad/The Cleveland Show - Out of the three, AD is probably my favourite with FG as a strong contender, even though I have new-found "respect" for TCS because of their "hide yo kids, hide yo wife"-reference.
Castle - Nathan Fillion with lots of dry jokes, and sexy cop lady Ms Legs. Also it's fun guessing who dunnit, and I usually get it right so it's fun in two ways!
Fringe - Last season had a biiiig mid-seas. dip in quality imo, but the ongoing season has been consistent imo, as long as they keep it not too silly. I straightened up and clapped enthusiastically during at least one of the episode cliffhangers. :)
Modern Family - Yes. And Hayley too.
Suburgatory - If I save the episode of this and watch it after Castle it almost feels like an episode of Firefly sans spaceships and Cheryl Hines instead of Gina Torres.
Eastbound & Down - Yes. NIce twist on this season. Only wished the episodes were 45 min imo.
There's also show I watch less than religiously, that include, but are not limited to, How I met your mother, 2,5 men, Big bang theories, New Girl, Whitney. This I watch motsly when the other shows have off-weeks, or if I'm exceptionally bored. This shows are either new and not that good, or they're past their prime.
I'll update this list when I get a chance to look through my off-season watch-list. Or is this the one that's off season? I dunno bleh.. |

you. Reread what I wrote right before and after I mentioned the show or gtfoh. It's a show, but it's less ty than ing The Bachelor or American Pickers, and is a much better choice for background noises and light flashes for when I do my pre-toke prep work. |

| Ain't got the time to invest in a multi season 45 min show, not right now at least. I've seen a few episodes though, and I liked that the youngest chick ffrom the Nanny punched him in the face with her boobs out. |

You sound like you have the TV on for pretty much every waking activity. |

| i've decided to watch breaking bad all at once on netflix. i'm up to episode 4 and i'm not wowed yet. i mean it isn't bad, but so far it hasn't lived up to the hype in my eyes. |

Stay with it, the show never stops escalating. It just does so at a controlled pace.
If you aren't engaged by the time season 2 ends, I think you've given it more than a fair chance. |

That's funny, going into things with high expectations based on hype has always worked out great for me in the past. Especially when paired with an affinity for declaring contratian views. |
