I guess they do not have Starbucks coffee yet in Tasmanialand. |
Oh right sorry, I see what 187 is trying to say. But given that starbuck’s callsign dates back to well before starbucks was a force to be reckoned with, the association is one of coincidence not “product placement”. |

I think he might have thought product placement where as you were talking about how frequently she's featured in commercials. |
Well, kind of. Not just commercials but certainly part of selling the show via sex appeal. I criticised it at the time because I thought it was unnecessary, so that’s why I always considered 6 to be the product placement girl, coz I totally missed the starbuck reference. |

I really need to get back into that show and although I agree that she has an overextended marketing presence, she was brilliant in Baltar's head. They both played really well off of one another. |

| I'm just glad I wasn't missing some "obvious" subtext. Pkc's statement read as though Starbuck was obviously a 6, and I did a major :wtf:. "Did I miss a season or something?" |

I think Supernatural starts up again this Friday.
Not sure if anyone likes this show or not, but I'm a fanboy. :p |

yeah unless you're a petty bastard like 187 there's definitely something for any fantasy fan here; was certainly better than 99% of such tv in 2004. the jerky-cam alone is worth the price of admission. worked really well in the show. |

I started watching Falling Skies today. Prof. Monitoff ftw. Weird to see him in such a big role, but he plays it well :)
gonna check out Terra Nova tomorrow |

| my favourite part of Falling Skies was at the very end of episode 1 when they showed "John F Kennedy High School"...which was the high school that I went to back in the day (it wasn't called JFK High school, obviously) |

| Yeah, I've heard lots of people saying that what they liked about the Falling Skies was the end. End. |
