warehouse 13: destroying chances of a decent scifi show one episode at a time.

The Following is so tryhard. The dude who plays the villain is terrible. I'm still going to watch it, but mostly so I can complain about it.

Please, angry remakes of pop songs while the head bad guy overacts his way through every scene. It's garbage.
Alex
I thought the first episode was good. I don't think it's fair to write it off so quickly because of one scene with the bad guy while Sweet Dreams is playing in the background.
Looney4Clooney
peepshow is arguably the funniest show ever made.

House of Lies is very good

I liked it too. Some of it is cheesy, but hey, this is a major cable network drama/suspense show, I thought it was better than previous attempts. There were some crazy eye stabbings and brutal murders so that at least kinda kept my attention :p

That's the show with Tim Meadows, right? I think I caught the first episode last year (?) and thoght it was pretty decent, but for some reason I haven't seen more. Maybe the pilot was released early or something. <3 Pilot Season <3

Regarding The Following, I agree with both of you. The jumps in time felt very forced, and I also ended up hating that police woman with the nice legs. She was just.. I dunno.. I'm gonna watch the next episode because of Kevin Bacon alone. If he hadn't been in it, what they delivered = next show, kthnx. Hopefully they wont run the show into the ground.

Started watching Banshee. Nearly hooked by the first song alone. Had a really nice Justified-y vibe to it. But I was in a terrible mood so I turned it off after 5-10 mins, but I'm def gonna check it out again.

New show that I think I like; Legit.
First episode was based off of the true story of Jim Jeffries taking his friend to a prostitute. Would have been better if I hadn't seen the standup, but 2nd episode was more than decent enough to slide into my regular tv show schedule.

Dinner now, I'll come back if I remember more shows.
netroM
Black Mirror.

Psyched for the new season :D

Aaaah right. The other white-looking black actor.

Other new shows worthy of mentioning:

Kroll Show
Sketch comedy by Nick Kroll + guests. One of the sketches(skits?) had nearly all my favorite supporting role comedic actors in it, and they all came through the door at once. Nearly orgasmic.

1600 Penn
Bill Pullman as president? ing yes I'm watchin that.
It's somewhat humorous too.

Newsreaders
From the makers of Children Hospital. First episode was okay, pretty funny stuff even though I can't remember any of it now.

Oh, and Walking Dead starts in 11 days :D
