| if you like x-files, then you might like the show 'Fringe'. it's got it's real cheesy moments, and some shady script writing here and there, but the only reason why i am still holding on to the show is because of it's close similarities to the x-files. there are differences here and there, but the core plots of the show are the same. |

| I just like to pretend that Scully is actually Clarice Starling. Everything makes more sense that way. |

| I've only seen a couple eps of Fringe, but it seemed so similar to X-Files that I can't believe they haven't gotten hit with a copyright suit. |

| Anyone like Lost? I've got the whole series on Blu Ray and have never seen an episode. |

I watched it up until season 4 or 5. Then I lost all interest in finishing it |

Maybe this just goes without recommendation, but I've started watching The X-Files from the very beginning and it's a ing stellar show. Of course some episodes are better than others and it really does not have the kind of cliffhanger continuity that shows this decade have, but most of them wouldn't be anywhere near the level of quality were it not for this particular predecessor. :p
I'm halfway through Season 2 right now and practically don't want to do anything but keep watching. :o |
It's a ing awesome show, for sure. One of the best ever made, IMO. Have the whole series + movies on DVD. Every couple of years we bust the collection out and watch the whole lot through again. |

+1 to all the recommendations in this thread, I can't believe I'm so late to this thread. Favorite show on TV is most definitely Breaking Bad, it twists and rips your emotions because of its incredible writing and superb acting.
Has anyone seen The United States of Tara? It appears on Showtime, it's really quite an interesting show. :o |

| i watch 'Breaking Bad' here and there. From what i have seen, it's a pretty good show. I saw last night's episode, and the last 5 minutes of the show were really :wtf: one of these days, i will sit down and watch all 3 seasons to delve into the characters, and understand why all the commotion occurred. |

breaking bad is FANTASTIC.
last night i watched an episode on demand and i'm not sure if it was the most recent episode or not (as in last nights episode that you guys just mentioned)
they get rid of the RV, long story short. was that last nights? it was such a fantastic episode, the best all season thus far without a doubt. |
