I was hooked from the start, but others have gotten sucked in after a bit. If you're looking for something else, and you liked the Wire, check out Boss. It's excellent.

yeah its really hit and miss for a lot of the seasons, but tends to get better the longer it goes on. the 4th season was pretty special imo. |
