I'm confused.. the url says Gucci?
I never weir ties, but I might start after watching suits :) I'm on the hunt for one of those dark blue suits, sans stripe. Let me see if I can find a picture.

I can't seem to find the damn thread.
Nice suit btw, though it's a bit too pricey. Now I know, you shouldn't get them cheap but at this point I simply can't afford spending 1.000 on a suit. |

Really? Terrible tailoring on the arms and shoulders (look at the seams), the shirt is collared badly and the tie looks like something bought in bargain bin in office depot. I'm also not a fan of wide lapels but that's a personal preference thing though. |

That's the American cut, which is why it looks so boxy and . Euro or Italian style only.
I agree with you re: the wide lapels. Prefer something mid, not too wide, not too skinny. Unless it is a double breasted of course.
The collar is fine if you actually like that type of collar. I'm not the biggest fan of the spread collar, but at least the knot is an appropriate size. I can't stand seeing wide collars with super skinny knots and ties. |

naw there are universal issues with that suite
A. the shoulders look like they are modular add ons.
B. patterned tie with different patterned shirt same colour as suite
C. the shirt is just awful. And there is too much blue. Matching doesn't mean making everything the same colour and then having one offset.
this looks like one of those suits that come with the shirt and tie and pants as is. You just put it on like a jacket. Like something you would buy at walmart ?
but ya, the tie and the shirt are making the gay side of me tear. |
