Dan Sampson & Jhereal: Solid gold (Original/Thomas Penton & Jerome Robbins remixes) [Release Grooves]
Dan Sampson & Jerial Askew and their stellar “Solid Gold” is up next for Release Grooves. The original is driving progressive piece with masterfully programmed percussion and a complex layering of atmospheric elements. At the center of it is an infectious male vocal line similar in veign to Syntax but unique enough to stand-alone. It’s chuggy and edgy for the most part, with a sexy transformation into melodic breakbeat in the middle that really seals the deal. The remix on the flip is courtesy of Thomas Penton and Release records head Jerome Robins. Taking a decidedly rock angle with the remix, they push things relentlessly from the onset. It builds dramatically towards a climatic breakdown where Balearic acoustic guitar chords collide with a vintage wailing electric guitar line. Tough and pumping but with a firm musical underpinning of melody.

Panopticon: Revealing the door (Original/dub/reprise) [Audio Therapy]
Panopticon is a fresh new signing to the Audio Therapy stable and what a debut 'Revealing The Door' is. An emotive piece thatmoves along with driving percussion and whispered etheral vocals before melting into a breakbeat frenzy. The dub is a more tripped out experience, utilising the breaks sound more than the original. Finally the reprise showcases the melodies of the sweeping strings and pads that sound like they should be on a music score more than a 12”, and will be the mainstay intro or outro of many a DJ’s set

Steve McMahon: Coggit manger EP [3 Beat Breaks]
Nice deep progressive breakbeat from one of the leading labels of the genre. Emotional bass-heavy stuff that many will fall inlove with.
--> B-side :eyes:

Invisible Inc.: Stars (Catch 2/Unbroken remixes) [Sumsonic]
Stars has turned out to be one of the bigger hits for Sumsonic in their history, with support from everyone including Sasha andDigweed. Two new mixes of this gem surface with some nice new directions for the track showcased. The Catch2 remix is a big breakbeat rendition with all the stabs you need and nice farty bassline treatment. Unbroken remix on the flip is a warmer melodic floating style, similar to stuff you'd expect from labels like Vapour.

Soundclips zoals gewoonlijk te vinden op www.releaserecords.com

:eyes:

Vincent Casanova: Rainforest EP

Girl Nobody: Smile & beware (Stef Vrolijk & 16 Bit Lolita's/Circuit Breaker remixes) [Release records promo]
Release is proud present the gorgeous new vocal club bomb of Girl Nobody, "Smile & Beware". The vocal has that indy edge to it, Bjork-esque you could say. Up first is the stunning Stef & 16 Bit Lolitas mix which goes from a hypnotic driving progressive start into a big floating melodic masterpiece that will put a smile on everyone's face. Circuit Breaker on the flip turns in an electric breakbeat mix with big distorted basslines and raging synth action.
--> Beide kanten :eyes:

Tkac & Haverlick: Noel (Original/Innate remixes) [Baroque promo]
Big vocal progressive piece with some of the best production quality I've heard in a long time. Gorgeous lush vocal, and some sick sick punchy percussion. Floaty and melodic but with a killer energy to it. Label bosses Innate with the remix on the flip, a twisted dark techy ride. Awesome!

Shiloh: Mana (Original/Elite Force remixes) [Electrofy promo]
What a year Shiloh has been having! Excellent release after excellent release, the majority of them residing on Electrofly. No exception here as we get a wicked little tight melodic breakbeat piece. Elite Force turns in a killer remix on the flip with some amazing lush percussion work. Gorgeous!
--> Weeral beide kanten :eyes:!! Een must have voor prog breaks liefhebbers!

Alex Stealthy: The kaleidoscope EP [Sog Liquid promo]
Followup here for Alex Stealthy to his well received debut on SOG Liquid "From Russia with Love EP". "The Kaleidoscope EP"picks up right where we left off with big epic progressive, soaring pads an strings throughout with some inspiring programming. Killer.
--> OMFG!! The b-side, bijna Hybrid-esque, fantastisch!! :eyes: :crazy:

ZGR: Zero hours (Original/Perry O'Neil remix) [Segment promo]
ZGR is Ozgur Can in disguise and with "Zero Hours" he rocks it out with more of his trademark magic. The original is a big floating piece with a tight driving percussion line that keeps everything tied together. Perry O'Neil introduces more of a summery melodic feel to things with touch lusher interpretation.

Alex Dobly/Maddox: Hazy way (Evil Nine remix)/Resonance song (Phil Kieran remix) [Mantra breaks]
Two brand new remixes of Mantra hits are here and ready to rock. Evil Nine's mix of Alex Dolby's "Hazy Way" is progressive breaks at its best! There's plenty of energy behind it, and of course the patented Evil Nine percussion. On the flip is a down n dirty remix from Phil Kieran of MadOx's Resonance Song. Support from Adam Freeland, Stanton Warriors, Ali B, Hyper, Steve Gerrard, Phatom Beats, and many more!
--> De Evil nine remix is lekkeeeeeuuuuuurrrrr!!

Luis Paris: Crystal kiss [Orient]
Luis Paris, head honcho of Orient Recordings and long standing member of the Plastic Fantastic empire has, after years of producing under guises such as Paris & Sharp, Innervision, PS Project, Groovestation UK and Paris & Healey, now cut loose and gone solo. Following in the steps of this year's summer smashes 'Blue', 'Pressure Release' and 'Do Anything', 'Crystal Kiss' is a fresh cut that is about to explode onto the scene.

H-Bomb: Northern lights (Original/Jeff Bennet remixes) [EQ Grey]
H-Bomb drops some sexy deep progressive for EQ here. The original is deep melodic piece that is vintage Digweed magic. Jeff Bennett turns in a beautiful remix on the flip that rides a gorgeous bassline and sultry sounds throughout.
--> Jeff Bennet remix :crazy:

Dirty Fours: Breathless/Machines [EQ Grey]
Australia's EQ Grey is on a roll at the moment, and follow on from Kosmas Epsilon's excellent 'Feed Me Acid' with a new single from Dirty Fours, those men better known as Nubreed. Under their Dirty Fours moniker they have remixed their own work with Luke Chable and remixed the MFA, as well as put out singles on Austin Leeds' Hamachi label, and the always-fabulous Vapour Recordings. 'Breathless' and 'Machines' are two class pieces of music. Their production quality is stunning, and the drive, layers of sound, and dirty beats provided here are more then anyone can ask for.
--> Damn damn, EQ Grey is idd zalig beter! Wat een plaat weeral!! :crazy:

Christian West: Nazca :eyes:
