hey greetings from Miami, Florida
I'm flying to Amsterdam on the 4th to visit some family, luckily enough I found out about Dance Valley today and will buy my ticket soon
I'm flying solo for this so I hope to meet some of u guys there :D
btw this is my first ever european festival
any tips?? :nervous: |

I guess it won't be any different from other festivals... If it's hot, drink enough water. And unless you really know what you're doing, follow instructions on how to get there (train / special busses etc.)... Infrastructure is a mess around Dance Valley... |

you will walk/dance a lot so wear shoes you don't get blisters in. drink water enough,
I don't know how you will go the festival site: by car??? train???
Car is less walking but if you are unlucky you willk have to wait a long time to get off the festival terrain and on the freeway. So if you are by car, have enough to drink/eat and good music in your car. That will make the waiting much more pleasant.
If you are by train go to trainstation AMSTERDAM SLOTERDIJK. Thats 5 minutes from AMSTERDAM CENTRAL STATION. At SLOTERDIJK there are free buses that will take you to the festvial. Every few minutes there rides a bus so you don't have to wait long. When you reach the festival terrain you will have to walk a long way: About 20-30 minutes then you will be at the entrance.
Ofcourse this years Dance Valley is 2 days. If you want to go 2 days you will NEED to have camping-gear. If you leave friday after the party, sleep in a hotel and go back saturday you won't let in anymore. So I guess you only go saturday?
It starts at 10:00 (morning) ends at 23:00 (evening). Be there early between 10:00-11:00 than you can walk around easily, at noon it will become very very busy! |

I'm only going on saturday because I arrive from Miami on the 4th so I'll be sleeping a lot on the 5th, and I'm coming from The HAgue I think in dutch is called Den Haag?? not sure, but I've been told trains run all day from Amsterdam to and from there

btw can I bring my digital photo camera?? I read on the DV site that no recording is allowed... how about pictures?? |
