Thanks Lira, but my work is mostly in regards to simulating radios, not explosives. :p
Anyone though with a passing interest in explosives could easily tell that was a car bomb... Even then its not that hard since you can see where the explosion comes from and there is nothing there that would signify an emplaced IED.
Second, emplaced IEDs use smaller explosives because they are often placed by hand and placed quickly (take a look around liveleak for why these guys want to get out of there fast). They are not going to be carting around multiple 100lbs shells in the dead of night. That explosion was way larger than a 152mm shell or any other piece of artillery. It was most likely many shells packed in the back of a car/van or it was ANFO. With the way the explosion propagates I would guess it is ANFO. |

No problem, that's sort of almost close enough... but you have to do research, don't you? Or am I really far off the mark here? |

Yes, incredibly boring research, reading from the ITU and other standards organizations and STANAGS and MIL-SPECs and ... I am not even sure why I do this. :p |

| I think Clifford has to change his pants now, assuming he was wearing any. |

I'm wearing shorts. So technically hal is half-right. :p
My favorite MIL-STD is MIL-STD-188-220... Its giant and confusing and covers a lot of from physical to hardware... |

Was a cool show. Anoraak definitely progressed well into the band scene since his solo days. Crowd was kinda beat though, 18+ show on a Monday, mainly college (lol) kids who had no idea what they came to see. |
