I have very thin hair, naturally, so it's easy to style it. My friend has thick hair (she's Italian) and always has problems managing to hold it in a position for longer periods of time, especially when we go to gigs, her hair is all over the place after a few hours of sweat and moving around.
Anyway, it really depends on how I want it to look that particular day. I sometimes borrow my sister's flatten iron and use it directly after washing the hair, that way it stays straight for the entire day.
Otherwise I use fictive spray from L'Oreal combined with small amounts of hair gel.
It's not hard, really, but depends on the hair type.
