A380?
An aircraft I'm much more interested in flying in.
Some of them have bars onboard. BARS. |
The problem is all the cool stuff is business class and above. Aus to EU is prohibitively expensive.
I was on the very first couple of A380s within the first couple of months that they launched with Singapore Air. Syd to Sing, Sing to London and then Sing to Syd. Doing Syd-Sing and Sing-Syd in less than three weeks again.
They are mighty machines but at the end of the day it's all the same inside. Singapore has the best interior on all of their planes so the 777 or A380 in economy makes no difference.
Give me a fast plane any day. |

Not in the least. Nou's aunt needs to hurry the up and move to Japan already so he can bitch about somebody else in a few years. |

"The new Concorde", now known as Aerion Supersonic Jet. Expected tests next year, and regular flights as of 2015. Seems too optimistic to me, but whatever. It's a personal jet, so no TA's except for Deadmau5 will be able to fly in it. |

Spending 4+ days on travel per trip is totally a viable alternative for gainfully-employed adults. |

This jet is going to do London/Paris to New York in just over 4 hours. Sweet! |

That's what I'm talking about, but we need a commercial version!
I just secured my seats next month to Europe. Booked the top deck of the A380 in exit rows on the SYD-SIN-SYD route :toothless |

Awesome, how much did that cost you? If you don't mind me asking. |

Nou will never get it because he doesn't have a job or earn real money/his own living. Only then can he understand the notion of having money to burn - on things like travel upgrades. Trust us adults, Nou - when you have extra money to throw around on "frivolous" , you do it. That's what it's for, for 's sake.
On a related note, my bf and I are going to visit my sister and her bf in Vancouver in August. We're getting picked up from the airport in a limousine. :toocool: :toocool: |

Singapore :wtf:
God damn how long does it take you to reach Croatia? (Door-to-door) :wtf: |

Total return to Croatia via Singapore and Frankfurt return is around AUD$3000. Pricey, but we get raped around here and Singapore Airlines is worth the extra $500.
For the seats? An extra US$50 per leg, so an extra US$150 (AUD$135 or so) for three legs since I didn't book the Singapore to Sydney return journey in an exit row. | quote: | Originally posted by Vernon Wanderer

Nice ninja edit :p
About a day. I leave Syd at 3:15pm on a Saturday and I arrive in Split at 3:25pm on Sunday. Obviously travel time there is over 24 hours due to time differences.
This is like my 7th time around the world, you get used to it. |
