| They should really build a mega chunnel to cross the Atlantic. They could even put scuba equipment under every seat to maximize safety. |

Yes, but I am arguing that it is stupid when apply a function of time to the situation. Some people have ridiculously high demands for comfort, even for short periods of time.
Same reason I think limousines are ing stupid. |
Your argument is completely based around subjectivity. Different people value different things more than others. Just because you think it's stupid doesn't mean it is stupid. |

much quicker than that rail travel across the atlantic. that's a bitch. |
I was using them as a time comparison you idjit. I could have easily just said an ocean liner, but since no one uses those for traveling between two destinations anymore I felt it was irrelevant. |

And escape helicopters aboard the train in the case of a crash! And every few miles would be a large pump that injects thousands of tons of liquid marshmallow into the tunnel to minimize damage!
I miss Theresa. |

There are actually realistic designs for undersea tunnels. They would not be traditional rail tunnels, but vacuum tunnels. Imagine a super sized version of the little things at drive up banks. :p The trains would reach speeds of thousands of km/h. |

I never said your opinion on upgrades was wrong--only that your opinion that you should discuss the value of upgrades was a cluster of an idea.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt and ignored your 537284534th pointless and irrelevant string of insults.
Again, I literally could not care less than I do about your opinion of the cabinets in an apartment I'm renting (with my money). |
