Sadly I cannot find reliable statistics on how many prostitutes or porn actresses are transgendered (those industries aren't exactly the best documented) but at .25%-1% of the total population one can easilly observe that in any major city transgendered persons make up more then .25%-1% of the sextrade. Again, I'm not saying that one should like the two but I can see why one would. I'm also not trying to minimize any offence you may have taken at Lira's comments; you're completely justified in that.
Perhaps we should not discuss that further, as for you it is understandably personal whereas I'm just looking at numbers and perceptions. |

I don't mind, it's just that being a member of the TG community, I know that a huge amount of us don't prostitute or make porn. Not even close to a majority.
So beyond being a huge leap (possibly tinged with trans-misogyny), it's also just a logical fallacy (and with no source). |

| no offense dude but i trim my fingernails due to hygiene. I dont change hairstyles because I feel like a long haired man or a short haired man that day. I do it to attract the opposite sex haha. Youre probably talkin to the wrong guy because i dont really see my outward image as a reflection of who i am on the inside. I use my actions and words to do that. I mean I always look fresh and look respectable because in order to get what you want in this world you have to be presentable. However, in no way do i have an inward struggle with myself over my shoes, hairstyle or fingernails. |
