| Why don't you go scare away some more girls by being yourself |

People who go around taking pictures of random people without their consent or without them even noticing are creepy as hell. |
I don't get how it's creepy :conf: There's a party in the park, and he took a bunch of pics of what was happening. |

| Taking pictures of what was happening is one thing, taking close up shots of complete strangers is creepy. |

I feel sorta in a gray zone. Everyone seemed fine with it at the park, some of those shots people were posing, people were talking to me about the photos, and I posted on the FB event page that I was the one taking photos and people seemed excited to see them (haven't posted them yet). |

Maybe it's just a perspective thing, since I'm into photography as well. I don't see this as weird in any way, it's just a bunch of people dancing at a park party, and he took pics of them.
I mean, there are photographers at EDM festivals and nightclubs that go around doing exactly this, and get paid for it. This is kinda the same thing, in my head. |

| Yah, I've asked a few other photographers I know, that are professionals and have shot parties before like this and they say "whatever, as long as they are good shots of people and no one asked you to not photograph them". |

| That's their job to do it. I mean there are people who get paid to take sexy pictures of women to give to their husbands too, but if you sit up in a tree and take pictures of them in their underwear through the window, it's not exactly the same thing, even if they "didn't ask you not to." |

Ok, hypothetically, let's say that Nou was paid to photograph this park party and took exactly the same pictures. Would that no longer be creepy to you? I don't see the difference, personally. |

No it wouldn't. He's be a paid photographer doing his job instead of a creepy dude standing by the dj booth taking pictures of complete strangers. |

So the fact that I wasn't paid makes all the difference even though the end result is exactly the same, in that I posted the photos to the event website for everyone who went to the party to see?
I am confused how money makes that situation any more or less justifiable when literally everything else is the same.
Personally I think you suffer from brain damage, but hey thats just me. Maybe you're just purposefully stupid? |

Eh, like I said, I guess it's just a matter of perspective then. I don't see the difference between a paid photographer doing it, or a hobbyist photographer doing it. The outcome (ie. the pics) are exactly the same, the only difference is money.
If I was at the park there, and had my camera with me, I would have been snapping shots of everyone partying too |
