Go there for brunch one weekend, it's absolutely delicious, especially if you have a view of the falls. |
I think my brother was taken there for drinks on the 4th of July, he said it was nice. Course its always nice when you got rich Japanese people paying for everything, AND you get paid to go with them. :stongue: |

Technically yes. He is a tour guide in Seattle for a Japanese travel company. He often gives very personalized tours for small groups or individuals.
On the 4th he was taken to one of the nicest seafood restaurants in Seattle, the guy bought 5000$ worth of alcohol (he bought some bottles of wine to take with him), then they went to Snoqualmie Falls for after-dinner drinks, then back into Seattle to a strip club till like 4am. :wtf: |

I really enjoyed the train rides there as a child. There is also an awesome train museum down the road aways.
So white people. |

A student sent me some pics he took in class. I wish I knew what the hell I was talking about, because I look unusually serious and pensive :p |

| do you always sit on the desk? |

| Pretty much, yeah. Sitting behind it makes me feel distant from my students, and there's little room to keep standing in front of them. I also tend to stroll around the classroom whenever I get up to write something on the blackboard. That's quite normal here. The sitting on the desk bit, not the part about walking. |

I don't think I have had a teacher, high school or college, that ever sat purely behind a desk unless they were not actually lecturing. |

| If you were a teacher in the U.S., you would probably not want to post that picture on the Internet. Who knows what anyone could presume you (or your female student) are doing. |
