SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo in conclusion::
Disco -> House -> Techno -> Trance
see the timeline fool?
And where did Disco come from? hhhmmm the U.S.
And where did House come from? hhhmmm the U.S.
And where did Techno get revolutionalized? hhhmmm the U.S.
YOu can not talk about Trance without mentioning it's roots!
You little kids have zero knowledge of EDM....Ishkur knows more then you man...matter fact...as much as a i disagree with Ishkur...he does have knowledge on EDM....sometimes distorted...but smart none the less.:D |
rofl. This middle aged kid is mildly amused by your ignorance and excitability. What a sad little fellow you are. I suggest that you run and tell your mummy how unfair it is tht no one else can see your obvious genius :rolleyes:

On the guitar you mean? That's part of it. Since electric guitars do not have such a large hollow body with a soundboard, it requires an amp. Many metal bands get distortion and other effects out of that. |
Yeah, on electric guitars. I kind of don't consider them electronic instruments for that reason. |

like it or not drugs are a big part of the scene |
Which good drugs would they be? It can't be X, since that's German. Coca is South American, but cocaine was first extraced in Germany - by the same compny that gave us X! (Merck). Acid is Swiss.
So what are these good drugs that were invented in the US? |

| ok...i dont think anyone has asked this question yet....what music isnt EDM if it was all influenced and the such....is it safe to say that all music should be classified by EDM...remember classical can have drums in them..and they can be remixed (i.e Fur elise) |

See i was there in clubs before there was such a genre called trance..where were you?
You know jack...and cant even begin to dispute what i have said...now run along to the UK rooms and sweat them a tad harder...they probally buy the bull u spit out as "history". |

Where did i say Trance is an American genre?
He was talking about the evolution of Trance...and i enlightened him on the history of Trance...which did in fact evolve from House music...and House music did evolve from Disco....Disco and House ARE American genres..that is a fact. |
You couldn't enlighten someone with a torch. Just because you know squat about something doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. I bet you think that no one can see you when you close your eyes ;) If you listened to (or were even aware of) British and Euro synth-pop of the 70's and 80's then the scales would be lifted from your ears. Compare Human League with KC and the Permed-hair Band during the same period and then tell me that trance and eurodance evolved directly from house and disco. UK pop in the 70's and 80's was ing cool, whereas disco was embarrassingly bad on its best day. UK/Euro dance and trance evolved independently in parallel with US EDM. There were of course influences going both ways,but to claim that the US invented everything is unimaginably insular and parochial, not to mention just plain wrong. Ignorant twat :thepirate
Oh, and on the behalf of my fellow Australians, I would like to apologise for Olivia Newton-John and the Bee Gees. we're all terribly embarrassed about it :tongue2 |

I've dedicated the better part of my life to it, but you'll have to do better than trot out a few designer pills if you want to prove that all the best drugs were invented in the USA. The 99% of the world's party animals are doing it the old fashioned way with pot, beer, speed, acid, coke and eeze, not even one of which was invented in the US Oh, and I like to think of myself as more of a peach :crazy: |

Now simmer down folks. Disco rules. Trance would not exist without House and Techno. Trance went its own way separately from House and Techno as soon as it was invented (invented in Europe/India), just after Techno hit it big overseas (in Germany at least). Dig...
Yeah John Travolta is a funny guy, which is all I really care about. Took me aback when I found that out. Also another funny guy is Tom Hanks, though it might not seem like it. He's hilarious...he actually used to be a standup comedian before he decided to go into acting...before Splash. Man he's funny. Not like Miachel Keaton...he tries to be funny...but he is...not. Aaaah, celebrities. |

No... nothing to do with Techno... Detroit started Techno, it was an ofshoot of house...maybe some links to house for trance... but definately disco links are there (Strong links to italodisco) i think... |

You think wrong. Everyone knows trance is because of German Techno and EBM! DIRECTLY YOU S, I DON'T MEAN TO TRACE THE LINELOLOLAOLOGY BACK TO THE ING STONED AGE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE ANSWER I CAN GIVE THAT MAKES ME LOOK SMARTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE, WHEN IN FACT IT SIMPLY MAKES ME LOOK LIKE A GIANT IDIOT. |
