congratulations drew, that is awesome!!! personally eating right and going to the gym often, same old crap I guess. although leaving work after an 11hr day to go to the gym for ~2hrs is brutal...makes you feel better though :). My roommate motivates me personally, there is nothing like an in shape gay man to make you feel like you need to work it out.

+1 :) I noticed you were slimming down :)

I have been 100% on track for 2 months now....my workouts AND diet have been on point.

However, for some reason I am gaining more weight now than I did when I was doing very little. Its weird, because I know muscle contributes to the weight gain, but I can also see myself getting bigger (minus the muscles). Almost doesnt seem worth it.

If I didnt care so much about my health and feel so great AFTER the workout I would give up, because losing weight is obviously not working for me. :( :(

do NOT pay attention to POUNDS! pay attention to your clothes fitting loosely-- measurements are key!!

has anyone read "You: On a Diet" by dr. oz and dr. roizen? SO awesome!! really funny and extremely practical. thumbs up from danisan. :toothless

Well I think you have lost weight (at least from what I can see). Maybe its time to go to the doctor to see why its not working for you :)

totally agree. i have yet to weigh myself since we've started but i totally am in love the way i feel the day after hitting the gym (energy like WHOA!!) and how i fit in clothes, especially my jeans which were the bane of my existence for the last yr. I think i weigh about the same for now but i know ive put on muscle for sure all over :)

no worries, we have been following a strict healthful regimen for about 2 months now.

cool, ill have to give that book a read :) i love receiving helpful advice. :)

Dont be too discouraged kelly. Im sure that if you keep on going at it like you said, the pounds should shed off. It just takes a bit of time. Dont give up kel, i know you can do it.

Personally i dont see it when i look at myself in the mirror, but i do feel a bit slimmer, but i dunno.

^^ on drew's note, you are your own worst enemy, dont forget it! also, plateau-ing is normal.. usually after a few weeks, weight loss should resume. happens :)
