Just came back from the gym and feeling good.

I've lost at least 15 pounds since the beginning of November (with a few off weeks thrown in there). I can breath better and clothes are looking so much better on me. Still have about 30 more pounds to get to were I want to be, hope to have that taken care of by the summer time, my motivation is to look damn good in a bathing suit this summer :)

Still just running and walking and sit ups...gonna add some weights to the routine next week to start and define the muscles. Goal is to get into a 5K and run the whole thing before years end (hopefully A LOT sooner then years end)

How is everyone else doing?

Doing good but it's almost impossible to eat well with my work schedule......I really need to start packing my lunch.

You really don't save that much when it's all said and done. Eating healthy usually cost more.....but it's better to pay more and eat good than to eat junk/fast food all the time.

^^haha everyone knows how I am doing:

eating well, keeping up with the routine (albeit a bit more boring and TRYING to get to the gym.....). Havent lost any weight but I feel 10x's better since I began in October.

Mere is def looking sexier as of late! :) Holy fast pound-dropper!! :eyes: :wtf:

:D thanks....we need to start posting pics of our progress up here.

Just tried on a shirt that I haven't worn in about 3 years and it looked damn good on me :) a few more pounds and I will be wearing it to Love on the 9th (so exciting to bust out the shirts that have been sitting at the back of my closet for years that I can now finally wear)

and kel you may not see it but I can see you are looking better and have lost weight but ultimately if you are feeling better physically that is the most important thing. Skinny people can be unhealthy just as overweight people can be healthy.

agreed. i DO find it so ironic that in order to eat healthfully, one needs to spend more. even if you don't go the organic/pesticide-free/soy/farmers' market route (like my sister does), it still adds up to some extent.

in the end, packing (healthful) lunches DOES save money vs. eating out everyday. So in the end u DO save. And its fun to do research and try to get creative with making meals with different variety of foods. :)

...man i wish i was well enough to hit the gym :( i can't wait to feel 100% again.

I don't find it ironic at all.....it's like all things in life. You get what you pay for lol. And it's not cheaper for me because here is the problem....I will go to the grocery store and buy whatever food I think I'm gonna eat that week....lunch meat, snacks, drinks, veggies, and so on.....well by the end of the week some of it goes bad or I just get sick of eating it and end up eating out a few days that week anyways which adds up more than what I would spend eating out lol. The only way I would save is if I went to the grocery store a few times a week and just bought enough for those two days but ....time + gas = more money plus I HATE GROCERY SHOPPING!

haha girl... You started dieting during the worst months!! Holiday season.

Congrats on the weight loss.... the pounds just fly off after the first 10 lb's [aka the hardest!]

- I want to/need to start eating organic! Stupid meat market was closing as soon as I got there so I just got 1 pack of purdue boneless chicken breast.. (N).

Think we should post some healthy recipes. I made a spinach lasagna 2 or 3 weeks ago that was THE BOMB! Delishhhhh.... omg. Not super healthy cuz we all know pasta = the devil... next time I'll use the whole wheat pasta.
