I actually met Michael Chang when I was on sesame street, he was doing a special on Tennis with Big Bird. He is much shorter than the 5'9" height he is listed at.

Yes I have heard that as well. But how much shorter??

No doubt, at his peak he was QUICK out there on the courts!!!

So I ran into the office by 9am-ish this morning, and decided to pick up a med coffee and a ham and cheese croissant (my fave) instead of just having cereal like I normally do (well my cravings got the better of me after dealing with the stupid MTA and the F trains not running properly). So I'm at my desk and I'm working and eating...I look at the time and its 11:05am - and there's still half a croissant LEFT!! I was surprised cuz I usually scarf those things down since I love em hehe :D

I don't like it when my breakfast runs into lunchtime so I just finished the whole thing a few mins ago...I have a tummyache and I feel it just sitting in there, and truthfully I think I am soo *over* my croissant cravings now, maybe even for good. It really didn't taste that great and it really wasn't worth the calories.

So score 1 pt for being healthy and voluntarily ridding myself of one more unhealthy food/item :). Yay!

Live and let live.

- haha this could have also been posted in the "Bored a t work" thread :toothless

hmm i KNOW i read about it somewhere, its definitely really good for you, cant remember right now off the top of my head but its sposed to be REALLY goood...Arizona has this blueberry with white tea drink that i used to love getting :)

but RED TEA >>>> GREEN TEA in term of antioxidants. I first came across it at work (we used Flavia machines and they had "African Red Bush Tea") man i keep forgetting to get some!!~ :whip: when I went to visit my sister in SD she had canisters of a few different varieties. there was a Chocolate Mint infused tea that I became OBSESSED with. lol

oooh that sounds good

I am still losing weight, though not as fast as before. Went into my closet the other day and started trying on all the clothes that haven't fit for a long time and they were all too big or just barely fit (without being to big). I actually tried on a dress from my friends wedding 9 years ago and it was just a little to big on me :eyes: :eyes: now that takes me back to my college days.

I have started walking just about everywhere I can to keep my self moving and still just watching what I eat and how much. LOL, the people in my office cafe think I am crazy. I am so anal in what I get and how much they put on my plate. I just look at the sandwiches they make for other people and can see the calories racking up in my head. Its all about the right choices :)

phoenixBEBE
u are soo right! wow thats just wonderful that you're able to fit/not fit ur old clothes anymore, thumbs up :)

mere! i still have to get that aforementioned tea out to u and Z...damns i keep forgetting to tell my sister to send it over blah. i suck. lol u have to try it!!! haha :) sorry it keeps slipping my mind!!

bigger portions are always ok if the leftovers can keep, i love having lunch for 2-3 days - it saves me monies and who doesnt like saving money :). i have no qualms about leftovers :)

i agree about the calories thing, thats why im glad croissants are FINALLY off my list. buttery carby baked goods have always been a weakness of mine.
phoenixBEBE
oh my sister just said she thinks that red > white > green tea in terms of antioxidants, so good choice on the white :) do you buy it in teabags or loose leaf?

apparently green teas and Oolong teas affect how fat is metabolized within the body -- good for me to remember. ive had yet to try oolong but this def encourages me.
