while you're not wrong, i think how you breathe is a more important indicator. if you generally take slower deeper breathes then you are probably healthier. Also, pay attention to when and how you lose your breath, and when you sweat and the amount of physical exertion that causes it. That's key. |

my weight has stayed the same but i feel i went down maybe a pant size on my waist
i dunno my weight fluctuates (sp) between 175 to 180
which is deff normal
i just wanna tone up a lil and lose some weight from my face i got fat cheeks :mad: |

Jerz: you may have a point (in regards to moi anyways.....) Its weird because I can do just about ANY cardio (even at high resistence, pace, etc.....) but when I run.....I get tired after 4-5 minutes. not passing-out tired, but I def feel the urge to push the "reduce speed" button about 100000 times. :haha: However, I noticed when I lost weight after high school that running was the only cardio that took off pounds at a decent rate. I barely lose a pound when I do spinning or elliptical, etc..... :(
bah! I HATE running, it hurts my ta-ta's!!! :mad: :( |

I am postponing my healthy lifestyle till after this weekend LOL
Why you ask...lets see. I ate a chocolate Chocolate chip muffin for breakfast and now I am eating pizza. Tomorrow is my birthday and I am gonna stuff my face with turkey and then Saturday is me and Kala's birthday party which I am probably going to comsume lots of alchohal. By the way most of you are invited. I will send out the official invites tonight ;) |

have the *best* bday tomorrow as well as over the weekend!!! *hugs* i so wish I could attend.
yeah, im soo not looking fwd to the weekend calorie-wise but sall good, festivities and friends will make it funnn! :) i won't be making it to any gym for the next 4-5 days which makes me crazy anxious :nervous: i just ate 1/3 order of chinese food for lunch and i feel sick :(
back on track: so far I can run 8 minutes, sometimes up to 10, without stopping and rest for 2...i tried 15 minutes once and I was just DONE =/~ however i cant do Spinning or Elliptical for more than 5 minutes right now. i dunno, im weirddd :( |

I def wouldnt mind running for 10+ mins at a time and then 3-5mins of walking and then repeat. ive maxed out 15 mins at one point which i was very impressed about.
As of now, im alternating with running and elliptical just to change it up a bit. I feel that the elliptical machine is a cheating way of running. lol |

haha we have the exact oppostie problem. I can do elliptical, etc for hours if I felt the need, even at high reistence. My coworker says that people with larger muscle mass have an easier time with the ^^above two but people with better endurance have an easier time running. haha my endurance sucks.
