It's Battlefield 2142, a pretty cool multiplayer game. I get sick of the AI of computer bots in single player games, it gets too predictable sometimes. So I play against human opponents in 2142 for bit more of a challenge. It's fun & has a cool ranking system.

greetings
i'm not done setting up...
still deciding/wondering how i'm gonna make room for the rest of the hardware...
then one day, if i have any cash -unlikely because i just spend it on gear, or records... i will upgrade my ultra-ghetto furniture.
as you can see, my computer monitor is chilling on top of a KRK V8, the other V8 is next to it w/an mc-303 sitting on it (view blocked by the monitor... then i have another pair of V8's tucked underneath the turntables.
still have to make more cables, so i can hook everything up to the 02r...

Figured that out myself :D
A shame to see al those expensive tools in that awkward position.
I can't imagine sequencing something like that on the 909 :) |

my main problem right now, is that this room is one part bedroom, one part dj place, one part makeshift recording studio, one part enterainment area w/tv, dvd, and it's own surround sound set up.
i have too much going on in this space. i'm planning on getting rid of the tv/enterainment system, so i set up against the next wall...
i really need to start making some serious money, so i can move into a larger space, and hopefully a safer neighborhood too. 'cause i refuse to put anything that you see in these pics in my living room.
hehehe @ the 909. actually the job of sequencing belongs to "azzurro". (mpc4000) i loved working the mc-909, it's great. but because i have always used an mpc, there are several things about the mc-909 sequencing/midi capabilities that i wasn't very happy with. i'm getting better milage by using the mpc as my sequencer/master. plus the mpc has better timing than the mc-909. maybe the 909 would work better w/other hardware when used as a master... but using the 909 to control kore... let's just say you can make it happen, but the 909 will not be able to keep it together 100%. |

Wow, I'm loving that setup.
I'm after a desk like yours (where the pc is). I know you're in the US, but how much did it cost you and was it specially made? |
