Not sure i posted anything for a while, this is as minimalistic i can get it. Bottom reached, now i can start slowly building again haha.
Next up Xone:32 (its in the mail somewhere), gonna try use it with ableton in some sort of livesetup together with UC33e midicontroller and my Echo soundcard (none of these on the picture atm). |
Palm how do you go with your monitors like that, they look really close to the ends of your desk. |

their a little low and should have been angles towards me. i had them on the desk a little while but then i lost the wide stereo and the desk itself resonates like a mofo so im thinking about hanging them on the wall. but first im fixing up the walls (look at them lol) and maybe buying new monitors. |
Do you know about the equal triangle rule that relates to monitors??
check the CM guide to monitors (free)
if i had my monitors like that it would sound horrible.... |

maybe get some mopad matts i just invested in those to stop the resonation. I cant imagine you getting a good ear of sound where they are thats all, though i may be wrong. go the handy man repairs, even pull your desk out if needed get some stands bud (-;
Edit: already on stands lol - shift them back pull your desk out then. |

What is your Maschine attached to, or is it just leaning on something? I've been thinking about a way to mount mine on an articulating arm or something so that I can have it at an angle like yours, move it around, etc.
Killer setup, btw!!! |

You'll never believe it... a $10 Fellowes Booklift Copyholder and a rubber sheet underneath to keep it from sliding/scratching the synth. :D

it's leaning against the desk - giving it extra sturdiness. Otherwise it wouldn't be much useful, as by itself it's somewhat flimsy...
thanks! |
