Just for your information its def less than half and even if it was half i can still do more things with it if didn't used my hands, nice try. If i wanted to get as anal as you in perfection i could always put the interface under my Tr-8 but i didn't. I didn't really think peeps would complain about 25% of the unit is out that i dont even touch. Its just fun newb. |
No, anal is you buying and selling 5 audio expensive audio interfaces in the space of 3 years. Anal is having seriously expensive monitors for less than 6 months at a time. Anal is buying $1000 power cables.
Straight up ing bad decision making is treating your room, spending thousands (actually probably 10's of 1000's by now) on professional grade outboard and synths, considering $6k momnitors as an upgrade from your $3k monitors, then trying to squeeze the whole lot on to a tiny cramped desk.
It really doesn't make any sense Juan. I'm not saying this to goad you, it really does just seem utterly daft.
Why? Because look at the people who actually really use their kit. What is the main focus?
Not how does it look, or how tidy is it, or how much were those monitors (this is all stuff pro studios do to impress clients for the sole reason of justifying huge hourly rates).
It's how easy, how comfortable, how flexible is it? How does it feel to be sat in that chair for hours on end.
You'll see it time and time again in every FM, youtube, DJ Mag video that you ever see.....some even have ghetto kit and strange arrangement of their rooms, but all of them have a desk or working position that makes real, usable sense.
I look at your desk and listening setup and instantly think - I could not last 10 seconds before started to get on my nerves and I'd start re-arranging stuff or even be in the car on my way to Ikea and/or home depot. |

Are you mad bro? like who cares if it rips your nerves? get a life or post a track or something.
Thats really gay, judging on my past because you can;t justify a righteous answer. Instead you try to come up with a lied predicament about interfaces. First you got price of the monitors wrong, now its the interfaces. Get your together man. You obviously can't be that daft enough to let it out the day after and write that much over an ikea desk. The setup is not even yours to begin with.

Have you actually looked at the pictures of your studio? You have two tiny, weird desks when if you got one large/broad one, you'd have everything at your fingertips.
|
I could place everything on the floor and still do more things with it than i could with my hands, how many freaking times do I have to tell you.
Editors, editors. Now don't try to bring people's past in order to make honest presumption or work your way out of an argument, its totally irrelevant. |

omg for all the anal jealous bitches who actually had to say it doesn't fit blah blah. Who the hell cares omg. I long for the day where setups didn't matter and only the music mattered. We have something in common now Mr mystery LOL. I never knew this thread was to please other people holy hell. |

| Now a more serious issue is isolation, nobody is telling Geoff to put them on his dynaudio monitors where there is an actual sonic difference rather than having something fit in a desk which correctable in 3 steps. jesus christ. |

You could start by not calling everyone idiots or pulling the jealousy card. We're genuinely concerned for that gear, you know.

It's a pretty sad state of affairs if this is considered trolling. |
