I'd much rather have a Virus|Powercore than a Virus B. But you need the Powercore PCI card to run the Virus|Powercore plugin. If you already have the Powercore card, you can actually download a demo of the Virus|Powercore plugin from the TC Electronic website. |

CReddick, Smart move putting the Mac in seperate room, I cant stand the noise PC's make, that gets to you after a while. Had to get a quiet case and a quiet cpu fan, otherwise PC's get unbearable after years of use.
I recognize a few things in your rack, what you got in there? |
Amen to the Mac in the other room. that g5 is as loud as my vacuum cleaner. My room is so silent now that the only noise i hear is the buzz of the power supply in my Carvin power amp. He's on the desk now and I may migrate him to the lower rack.
From top to bottom (nothing fancy schmancy):
Furman Power thingy
Antelope Audio OCX Clock
Patchbay
Korg Tuner
DBX 386 pre-amp with custom Sovtek NOS tube front end
Line6 PODxt Pro (for guitar stuff / re-amping)
MOTU 2408mk2 interface
MOTU 308 interface
Midiman 8x8 midi interface
Next on my list; Antelope Audio 10M |

I like the Studio RTA desks. They're cheaper, but still built like a tank, and have gear racks built in. |
