I was thinking about the distance between keyboard/mouse and the end the desk, where you sit. :disbelief |

I posted pics of mine some time ago but there have been few changes after that. I'll take better pictures again someday with some new toys in place. :)
Work in progress..

Sexy desk, and very nice setup (except for the behringer mixer) I was wondering, since I presume you only do studio work, why do you prefer the yamaha sampler above software like kontakt? |

Glad to hear you like it. :) That Behringer mixer is going to be replaced by Mackie VLZ Pro or VLZ3. Not sure which one though yet..VLZ3 should have better EQ but it's a little pricier too..hmm? I use the mixer for stem/group mixing and that Behringer has kind of a messy sound. Also the amount of cola I managed to pour in there once isn't making it any more reliable either.. :D
To be honest, I haven't even turned that Yamaha sampler on in a long time. There's really no use for it anymore. I use Battery for drums and Kontakt/Chameleon 5000 for other samples. |

Why are there convoluted foam panels behind your screens Mikk? They don't make any sound :p |

They're there to protect the screens when I get mad and throw them at the wall :haha:
No actually I used to have two screens and the speakers were in front of the outermost foam panels. The one on the center was obviously where I sit just to remove flutter echo from between the front and back wall. The screens used to be lower too, below ear level. I suppose the panels aren't thet effective anymore but I just left them as they were. |

Cheers dude :)
I used Genelecs on another studio few days ago where we recorded vocals for my friends project. While they're very accurate monitors too, long sessions with even moderate volumes aren't funny. I'm happy with the Dynaudios :happy2: |
