At first you can put your monitors on foam-pads.
I use selfmade panels: wooden frame + foam, covered with fabric (for optical matters):
Also at the sides and right above my listening-position:

Fixation:
Of course the thin foam only absorbs the higher freqs, for the bass-absorbtion I use big packs of cellulosis behind the desk:

Hey Anthony,
I have a ultralite too, i find it a very good sound card.
but sometimes all my channels will light up and make a digital noise.
Have you had it happen?
should i send an email to motu, as i have read some other users have same issue. |

happens when i overload the unit with audio (ie ableton + mp3 player + web player).
i have emailed tech support and they told me i have a defective unit but i dont' think thats the case.
email them, i'd love to hear what they tell you |

The expanding process has started, I got my audiofire12 today , so time for pictures!
* Old amd2500+ pc. Quad core arriving tomorrow :)
* old evolution midi keyboard
* A little behringer monitor mixer. I hate it but it's handy for the headphone.
* Echo audiofire12 (ing great beast :D)
* Behringer ultrapatch for future gear and additions. Already handy now with some routing stuff.
cdj800's with an ugly behringer mixer.
Soon more expanding to be expected. New pc tomorrow, probably a synth in about a month or 3 and dynaudio air6's after summer. :) |
