some pictures of my home studio :eyes:

That behringer Monitor Matrix.... Get rid of it. It sucks. I have it here too and I'm wondering how long I will actually put up with it. It colours the sound like crazy :(.

It's a cheap and easy thingy though.
drillindrums
my presonus monitor controller is at the repair shop ... the behringer is temporary
Vizay
Dunno why I haven't posted here earlier, well well...finally got some pics of my home studio :)

Took them today, have just recently added the nr. 2 screen that's standing on top of my breakout box for the soundcard ^^

Hehe, good for you :)
psymon.d
the computer monitor set up in the one above is awesome. makes me wish i had a dual monitor set up :(

really though great idea with that behringer midi controller, i love it.
Vizay
Yeah I love it that way, most of the times I want to be able to watch the mixer so I run the sequencer and the effects & synths in my main monitor.
It also gives a very good feel as to wich channel on the behringer controller I'm controlling at the moment.

The only thing I want now is new monitors (saving up for a pair of genelecs) and a new soundcard (saving up for a motu firewire soundcard) :D

ohh and just to tease a little, I got the smaller monitor (17") for free :D sometimes girlfriends really rock! :D

LMFAO!

about Vizay - didn't get the thing with the paper on the tweeter... why? low pass (paper) filter? hehe

Vizay
yeah it's what I like to call a true analogue filter! ;)

Nah but seriously speaking, thoose big speakers are utter e soundwise, I only use them as stands for my ESI nEar monitors :p

and they are basicly just a noisy stand for my über mooses standing on them! ;)
I tell ya once and for all, it isn't a true bedroom studio unless it has a lava lamp and a couple of mooses! ;)

LOL
I got an old lava lamp in my room and just decided to put it on the table hahaha...looks cool but still no output for it so I can't use it...darn...
anyhow, the speaker stands idea is kinda bad I think, they are way too high there bro, the mid-low speaker shouldn't be above your ear afaik.
