Thanks :) Yes I built the desk. There are some pics I took earlier on this thread..page 57.
I like the foam. It's good for nasty reflections and echoes but shoudn't be used too much if there's no treatment for lower frequencies. |

Yes, it's Behringer MX2642A mixer. ATM only used as volume control for speakers (through 2 track return), headphone amp, and playing synths when computer is off. All the cannels became very unreliable after a minor accident with cola... :D So I don't record through it. Also seems to somehow color the sound. |

Thanks LENG! I tried to make the desk as confortable and usable as possible. It's actually inspired by the desk of some of my favourite producers :p
BM5A's yes. I chose them over Mackie HR624's and some others at the same price range. You won't be dissapointed. :) I never believed in any burn-in period for speakers before but I do now. The sound will get even better with time. :) |

@ mikk: respect, nice setup man! :toocool:
one thought: on the pidtures your monitors seem to stand pretty close to the wall, this may cause sound problems. |
|

| nytrox: how is that so? i have mine (not monitors though, altec lansing vs4121) sticking a few inches from the wall... |
