their 70cm. normal heights for speakerstands but its not optimal for producing thats right, their more suitable for when ur lying your couch listening. i dont care right now tho caus there are other problems here like resonance etc that is much worse than the height of the speakers. some day i might get them up on the wall or something. |
Wow that is short. Only reason I was saying it is because it's so much nicer having the tweeters at ear level. I stuck mine on a couple of phonebooks and it's great.
Not essential but definitely better for monitoring :)

Not really no. Apart from softsynths, haven't added anything to it yet.
Mainly because I had to finish uni so I left production for about a year, spent cash on traveling and when I produced with others I just went to their place lol.
Will try and add a new table and speaker stands soon, and then hopefully in the next 6 months an Alesis Andromeda A6 as a graduation present for myself once I get a full time job. Fingers crossed :p
Oh and yea yea, I know, I need to stop forum whoring and actually go and produce something. I get sidetracked too easily :( |

why don't you just put them on top of cd spindle boxes?
Besides that, Ikea does those phone/screen-swivelstands that let you move left or right what's on top depending on your needs. I still have mine although I have quiklok stands today. |

| it really doesnt matter the way things are here now. also these monitors are abit agressive in the treble so by not having them directly into my ears all the time i can go longer. i have alot more trouble with resonance in the bass and those stands helps alot on that beacuse their very heavy. |

I just finished Bachelor of Biomedical Science.
Yes, finished and I'm so glad I'm getting the hell out of uni. Was doing my head in after 4 years. |

she quit the research lab she was working at to get the phd diploma, and is now teaching nature and science (chemistry, biology) at technical schools, less hours for same each month, which means 80% more than me with the music and bookings ;-)
