That's pretty awesome. How much is rent in a place like that?

Haha.

yup, the option was crap speakers or awesome headphones, so went for top headphones.

ome nice monitors will be my next buy, in the next few months hopefully... i reference my tunes with some comp speakers i have here occasionally, but yeah, the headphones are generally pretty solid... :)
palm
need some new headphones myself soon, the sony mdr-v6 are terrible for producing, everything sounds good on them.
now mine looks like this lol, ing nice to be sitting in a chair again, compared to be sitting on the floor.

yeah mate well the 240s are ridiculously nice:
1: they're comfy as hell, have worn them for around 3 hours at a time, and absolutely no discomfort, and they fit perfectly etc
2: sound is impecable, and revealing, the mix is really clear in them

-havn't had too much experience with good speakers etc, so can't really judge the difference, but 240s are deffinitly all i will be needing for headphones :)

you can look and find some studio versions of the k 240 series and they're going pretty cheap atm as well, as they've been superseded by the k 242HD (same interior, different colour scheme, no detachable cable etc), or pay a bit more and get the MK IIs like i did :)

and lol about the headphones, my $70 comp speakers are the same, they have definition which means stuff actually sounds alright in them... funny how that works :p

Short speaker stands. They seem awfully low to me.
palm
their 70cm. normal heights for speakerstands but its not optimal for producing thats right, their more suitable for when ur lying your couch listening. i dont care right now tho caus there are other problems here like resonance etc that is much worse than the height of the speakers. some day i might get them up on the wall or something.
