My LCDs are at eye level with the Creation Station since there is no keyboard tray. I have my chair up all the way so my legs are right under the desktop.
(already posted -- I no longer have my LCDs on top of the 1U rack.)

alan, with your obsession on rack gears i dont get why u dont just buy a rack for them to keep things tidy?
look at djdirtys for example, thats clean and u could have your andromeda on top of it:

That does look very nice and clean, but with everything sitting that low and close to my workstation, I'd be afraid of wheeling my chair around and busting the faceplates, knobs, etc. off my hardware. Plus, at that height, your gear isn't very accessible, which kinda defeats the purpose. |

| i like how alan has everything in front. The point of having harware is so you can easily reach and manipulate it. |

| well u could make a custom one one the wall too, that would look awesome really. and then u dont have to worry about beers or cats or anything. |

| I do have a rack, but it took up too much space and was too inconvenient to roll back/forth as I wanted it. So I went with my current setup and I love it. I'm sure my rack will come in handy some day, but for now, it's a $200 box. :| |

| what id love to see is a studio where all the racksynth is above the computerscreen, angles downwards like in a cockpit mounted in the wall or something. :D |
