and let me tell you, i have a lot of crap on this desk! 2 computer monitors, 2 sets of speakers, a laptop, 49 key midi controller, external hard drive, sound interface, 2 computer keyboards, dj mixer, 2xcdj-100's and two mice ^o^
they have little shelves which are perfect for your speakers, but buy some accoustic pads do put under them and youre set ;D
cheapest speaker stand i could find was $120AUS, the entire jerker was $250AUS haha |

The second monitor pair are just for referance. I listen on the first set, than switch to the second to see how that sounds. I also have a small portable stereo behind me with cheap speakers and try the mix on that. If it sounds good on the 3 set's it ussually sounds good everywhere.. I got my studio in pieces at the moment, awaiting some new cables and new ad/da converters plus I finally moved to analog summing. So basically I mix in the computer than send 4 stereo channels out to a analog summing mixer, which gives the sound extra sparkle and better stereo image. Something i could never get using software. Update pic comming soon :)I just finished buying all the stuff, no more synths and anything alse.. Just two things I am gonna pick up. A good comfy chair, and alpha track to control the faders in cubase.. And I am finally finished building the studio. |

its basically the same as DJ dirty's, except instead of one widescreen, i have two 19" CRTs and a laptop in the middle. also between the speakers on the top shelf is my mixer/cdj's etc. i'll try get a photo... eventually lol... no camera :D |

| I am back to two monitors as well. I went from two to one bigger, but now i am back to two again.. One wasn't cutting it.. So I gived that one you see on the desk to my wife.. Someone's happy :) |

damn bro...defently one of my top rated studios! amazing setup.
the monitors has referance I got. though 2 things I didn't get:
1. why the Virus C and Virus TI? why not just keep the TI?
2. the acoustic looks odd, I never seen that kind of setup.

Well i can say this. The reason i have both virus ti and c is because, I was gonna sell the virus c, but last minute i changed my mind. I'v already bought the ti, and now i got both, I am not gonna sell the c casue i don't need the money.. So now i have an extra sound source.. |

a studio like that is defently something to look forward to! =)
I'm hoping to have BM6a or Genelec 1030A if I'm not mistaken beside the Event ASP-6 that I got.
and add a Virus TI, Nord Lead, A6 and Moog to my JP 8080.
hehehe.
I got my dreams but also am patient and know I'll get there someday. |
