17" was the first laptop i used for touring.... still got it but moved to the 15" core duo as it was more powerful... finally picked up the 13" as its much easier to travel with, easier to find space for in a club...

i use them for different things... macbook is now my travel / gig laptop

other 2 get used for day to day stuff and production work

Here is my studio. Very simple since I only use software, an Emu Xboard 49 midi keyboard, Behringer mixer and M-Audio BX-5 monitors. The PC is custom built and the monitors are Dell 20" wide screens. The desk is Ikea.

are you finding a good balance between these two monitors? i myself also have the Adams but would like a 2nd pair of reference monitors(in the distant future) with a bit more punch in the 40-100hz range. were these two bought side by side on purpose?

Is it not just reversed Auralex Mopads?

i need something like that, have problems with resonance from my desk

I have them myself, they're pretty good, you get wedges with them to angle them to your listening position, in the pic the guys are pointing up because theyre too low, mine are pointing down because they're slightly high. You may also want to checkout The Primacoustic Recoil Stabilizer i don't think you get wedges with these though, and they're a little more expensivehere

what kind of material is these made with, i might make my own if possible.
Ry Thomas
It is just dense foam
